2012 HEFTY Creative Service

HEFTY had a busy March, but it sure was fun! For our Purim carnival we had many HEFTYites working concessions and running games. We also just got back from the NFTY event Spring Conclavette. This is where over 200 Jewish teenagers from all over New England drove to Andover, MA to share Shabbat activities, hang out, and make new friends.

Our upcoming events are our Creative Service and a trip to Fire and Ice in Boston. The creative service will be on March 30th and is going to be enjoyable. The theme for the service will be “Reflections” and we will have many readings from the youth group about reflections on their own life. On April 28^th, we are looking forward to an engaging dinner at Fire and Ice where the food is cooked on a grill right in front of you. HEFTY certainly was busy this month, but we are looking forward to the great programming activities that are still yet to come!
